Another wonderful weekend's diving with Skipper Andy Tibbets on the MV Mary Doune.

Saturday 12 April.
A dry calm sunny day saw us off to Skye. Our first dive was on the point at Rubha Na Dunain. A favourite cliff dive - one of Scotland's best was glorious with the sun streaming onto the south facing wall.
After exploring around Soay for pinnacles (none were found!) we dived on Na Ganhanaichean reef; a vertical wall covered in anemones and soft corals from the surface to white shelly sand at 22 m.

Paracentrotus lividus

Back at Doune we spotted this rare urchin, Paracentrotus lividus, in a rock pool in front of the cottages. Later we enjoyed another delicious meal in the award winning Doune Dining Room.

Sunday 13 April.

Another lovely day. We headed down to Ardnamrchan and dived on the Bo Fascadale pinnacle. There was little swell so we enjoyed the splendid colourful life on the vertical faces with thick kelp on the top.
Lunch was enjoyed while moored up at the pier on Muck while Andy pumped up the cylinders and some of us had a wee wander about the island to admire the daffodils..
The second dive found some of us round the corner from the harbour to the east on the 18 m wall of Bogha Ruadh, covered in anemones and the rest on a pinnacle nearby.
