A beautifull calm day at the end of a very rainy week gave us lovely conditions ashore for the day. The rain had made for water conditions that were far from ideal and with 0 m visibility down to 8 m it meant we were on night dives with torches below that.

All worthwhile for the glorious fire and food. Thanks to Lesley for the wonderfull minestrone soup and chilli, to Gordon for the firewood (again), Jenny for the roasted chestnuts, Jenny, Audrey and Joanne for the mince pies and Xmas cake.

This festive little Protanthea simplex anemone was photographed by Boyd Forrest.

It was difficult to drag ourselves away from this lovely fire and dive - but we did.
