Another fabulous weekends diving on the Mary Doune with Skipper Andy Tibbets at the helm.

anemonesWe arrived on the Friday evening after a leisurely drive through torrential rain and arrived as the clouds broke at Mallaig. The Mary Doune ferried us across to the accommodation at Doune on Knoydart.

By the Saturday morning the sky was a glorious blue and we set off at 9 for the day. The first dive was back to a favorite on the east coast of Hyskeir. A wall drops down from the rocky shore to 15 metres and then shelves in layers down into the depths. Lots fish life in the 15 deg C water and abundant invert life in the 15+ metres visibility. Our second dive was in the Cave at the western end of the island.

LingAnother lovely dinner on the Saturday evening in the Doune restaurant set us up for a good night's sleep. Sunday was overcast but we headed up to Skye to dive on Rubh an Dunain and Sgeir Mhor. Both lovely wall dives with abundant life.
