SOUTHERN RED SEA

the crew

Back again to the Southern Red Sea and we had chosen Oonasdivers again as our tour company of choice.  Originally booked onto the Coral Queen we finished up on the Juliana - not as nice a boat but an excellent crew and an old friend, our dive guide Achmed. Following our traditional crack-of-dawn start from Edinburgh we arrived, via Gatwick, at the new airport at Marsa Alam a mere one hour from our departure point. Six full days diving down in St.John's and Fury Shoal on superb sites and we transferred to the comfortable Eco Village at Marsa Shagra for a couple of nights, and a day's diving.

These are the guys who made the holiday so memorable. Always smiling, helpful and careful with us, our cameras and dive gear it was a pleasure to be with them.
