30 November Diving cancelled due to bad weather - there's a first!

23 November A day's diving on the MV Sea Otter out of Dunstaffnage. We had another superb day out, diving on Dubh Sgeir in the Firth of Lorne and Maiden Island near Oban - thanks again to skipper Chris.

20 October An evening curling at Murrayfield in Edinburgh organised by Ian Seath. Sixteen of the Branch's expert curlers burned up the ice for a couple of hours of excellent fun.

12 October Photo by Jim AndersonAnother great day's diving on the MV Sea Otter out of Dunstaffnage. We dived on Inish Island and B03 Febach island in the Firth of Lorne. This large 90 cm Angler fish, Lophius piscatorius, was the 'fish of the day' during the dive at Bach.

March

29/30 March Scottish Dive show, Glasgow and SSAC 50th Anniversary ceilidh. A fantastic evening dancing was had by all in Glasgow's Quality Central Hotel and especially Lucky Jim who walked off with the first prize in the raffle - a new Buddy stab jacket donated by A P Valves.
25 March Committee meeting, Sport Diver Lecture and Pool training. The Committee agreed to extend the scope of the Branch Levy to include a non-diving member category to enable non-divers, who are members of SSAC, to retain membership of the Branch but have no privileges other than access to the pool for swimming and to Branch social events. This new category for 2003/4 costs £10.
23 March The Dive Team on MV Sea OtterA days boat diving on the MV Sea Otter.  The weather was glorious, with a flat calm sea and blue skies overhead. Click on the image to the right to link to a detailed report.
