members of the Branch visit Meeru
Island Resort for a fabulous two weeks diving on the reefs in the
beautiful Indian Ocean. Unfortuneately the recent coral bleaching event
in 1998 has left the shallower reefs in very poor condition, most of
the corals are dead and covered with algae. The fish life is still good
with a big increase in algae feeders!

our way round Mull, via Coll, on the MV Jane R. Skiper Gordon Wardsworth dropped us on the Aurania, Generalconsul Elisajeff, Arinagour Pier, MV Tapti, Nevada 2, Torran Rocks and the Meldon. |
